Girlfriend is turning 25yr March 30 and we'll be one month shy of 3 years together.
We were at coach and she bought some purses the other day, I offered to buy one or both for her birthday, but she said no.
So now I have to hunt down a gift.
Any ideas.
Yes, she is older than me, FTW!!!

NeVaH!!!!

I think you should get her really drunk to where she passes out, then drive like 50 miles to a nice hotel. When she wakes up, just tell her about all the cool stuff you did that day... best part is you're only out the price of gas, liquor, and the room.

Honestly, I don't know her taste or anything, so other than typical jewelry and clothes, we can't suggest much. Better to remember back to a nice event in your relationship and do something related to that. Then remind her about the connection (if she doesn't notice, but unlikely) and get the 'awe, he remembered' expression.

Yah, but now isn't the time.
She did get drunk long time ago on me, and she hasn't gotten drunk since that nite.
Already, I'll figure something out. And if it is good I'll post pics.

i'm gonna have to meet her... i'll be down on the 29th

how serious are you guys? do you think you're gonna get married?

i like some of the people opinions where you should spoil her all the time when you do stuff instead of one big date on valentines or bdays... just make sure you treat her good the other 364 days of the year

I bought a digital frame and loaded it with lots of pictures of our kids and family for my wife on V-day. She loved it. She took it to work and I have not seen it again. She brought home all her framed pictures she had on her desk and loves the extra room she now has to work.

Is she a book worm? My wife has a book she has read probably 15 times. I bought her a new one and contacted the Author. She autographed it with a personnal message for $20. That was for our 15th anniversary.

I have found in 19 yrs of marriage. It is ALWAYS the well thought out meaningful gifts that mean the most. Buying expensive jewelry at the last minute shows you have not been thinking about her.

Tell her you are doing something special with her and she needs to dress up for a night out. Rent a tux if you don't have a nice suit. Cook her favorite meal, with white table cloth and every other fancy touch. Here is a tip on this one, do a practice run so you know how long it takes to prepare everything. Better yet, tell her best friend what you are doing and you need help in the kitchen. Women's best friend are always up for helping out on ocassions like this.

If you aren't a cook, have a limo pick you all up for a fancy dinner and a over night at a bed and breakfast or fancy hotel with private hot tub. Most nice places will let you check in early and place wine and roses in the room, or will place them in for you.

Last but not least, take her shopping at her favorite store for a new outfit. Give her a card saying this is her present.

These are just a few of my past ideas.
