I did a quick chop of a front end conversion from a 98+ blazer on my 96. Tell me if you think i should do the conversion and how good does it look. I think i did a pretty good job with this chop laugh
BEFORE

AFTER just headlights and grille

AFTER added Bumper

Do it, the front end you have now is ultra plain, a friend of mine has an S-10 and he wants to do the swap as well

I say 100% go for it

i plan on it but its expensive, close to 600 bucks and alot of work. have to do headlights, grille, bumper (optional), radiator support, and change the wiring out for the new headlights and turn signals. otehr than that its not that bad, my friend Brent did it on his blazer, and i love it. just gotta build up some money to do it and the time.

I think you could do the extreme bumper and have your stock grill powdercoated black (not the inserts) ...I think that would go with the wheels.

that x-treme bumper would need to have some side skirts to go with it.

I say go with the first bumper you chopped on there and add those sweet headlights

LMAO i love how when you dropped it the garage is pretty much sitting on the blazer!! looks nice though!! go with everything you have in the last chop especially those TIGHT grilles!!!!

dont know if anyone else noticed that but he added another set of grilles in the final chop as well!!

im calculating out how much this is going to cost. front end its self is around 600 for a professional kit, or i could buy it in parts for little cheaper. then the xtreme bumper is like 300 bucks then sideskirts would be around 200 but those are going to be hard to find, the xtreme only came in 2 door. not 4. and the hood is 350 bucks, so add that all up, then paint. we are looking at close to 1800 bucks for everything i chopped (minus drop)

rofl, that last one is so skewed, that blazers NEVER going to fit in the garage like that. wink

looks pretty good with just the grill area and stock bumper.
