the likely hood of a small bus hitting my house after falling from space is pretty slim but then again if it does then time for some government checks for the rest of my life.

I doubt it as well, but there could be a slim chance but lets hope the wind or something will shift its course to the atlantic or pacific ocean.(lol)

What evers left will be very small. Good point, I wonder what will be left when it enters the atmosphere.

No. If it does hit, you're going to be hit by a pebble or two. The chemicals will burn up as well. A majority of it will burn up in the atmosphere, like many non geosynchronous sattelites that time has expired. Only the heavy ones hit the ocean but they aren't the size of buses anymore, more like the size of a person or a football. http://www.scienceagogo.com/news/20000225230117data_trunc_sys.shtml http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/681646.stm (Note: The above isn't accurate as another company bought Iridium). http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070731193451AAulLdp

I hope it doesn't crash into my right-side fender. Darn space objects....
If it was going to completely burn up, why would they be making a big deal out of it? Oh, and those few pebbles that might make it through... those should be going about as fast as a bullet and will do some damage.
