I thought I would share my gloomy decision that I'm disconnecting the CSC for a little bit... at least until I have a full day off to do some overall car maintenance and realign the belt/supercharger and replace the cog belt (this ones lasted me a while, and is time to be replaced).
What prompted this is the poor fuel economy in the cold, lack of traction in the snow, and today it is 3 degrees and the novi was making some strange noises (i think the cog belt slipping) so apparently the setup isn't fond of the cold.

So what does this all involve?
Since the M90 just takes a belt and your good to run on just a 3.8 liter.

I'm not demodding.
I don't even have to take the cog belt off. The CSC kit uses a longer serpentine belt, so if I put the original belt on, it just bypasses the CSC shaft pulley. All I do is clear the fuel trims and it relearns fairly quickly without having to change the tuning.

I was at one point, but it ended up being something simple. The cogged pulley was slightly worn in the center causing it to eat up belts FAST. Once I replaced that, my belts have lasted longer than they're supposed to.
The tricky thing about my CSC kit is keeping the supercharger's pulley exactly parallel with the other pulley, so that the belt has even pressure on both sides. It just involves washer spacers but can be time consuming.
