I bought a 2006 GXP about a month ago. So far things have been going alright with a few exceptions. I had the car for a week and decided the advertised "V-8" gurgle wasn't quite up to snuff so I repalced the stock mufflers with Stubby Magna-flows and removed the resonator. Also, the car rolls back on an incline like it was in neutral when in fact it is in Manual mode. Has anyone else had this problem? I've had it in to the dealer -3- times and they keep telling me this is normal. My last car, also an automatic was a 1997 Camaro SS and it most certainly did not have this disturbing roll-back,,,

yes, grand Prixs are about the only automatics that I know of that will do that. My GT does it as well as my brother's SE. It is frustrating, but it is also normal.

Actually I've tested mine yesterday on a hill and it does the same thing.
