I just want to share my new baby: a 2006 Dark Cherry GXP. In 2002 after I traded in my white 97 Grand Prix GTP Coupe on a 2002 300M Special, I kept kicking my self of not getting another Grand Prix. Well, I'm back.

Dave
PS The color of this car is very similar to my 94 Black Rose Vette! When it gets nice here in Indiana, I'll have to get a picture of them together.

P.S. Welcome back!

It's a little confusing.

At the time, there was a $1500 rebate if you purchased it. Therefore, my "offer" was:
$ 31,905
$- 1,500
--------
$ 30,405
$-13,000 (trade in value)
--------
$ 17,405
$ 11,500 (what I owed on the trade in)
--------
$ 28,905

Since I leased, the $1500 rebate was not valid. The dealer did add $1000 to my trade in value, so I leased $29,405 - residue.

Told you it was confusing.

Nice color. I just picked up a Black on Black 2006 this past Friday. The funny thing is that I hate black, but, it seems these cars are far and few between.

I bet the Black on Black is pretty menancing! When looking for a car, I wanted to get a dark blue (like the 300M I was trading in), however since GP's didn't come in blue, I was leaning towards silver until I saw this Dark Cherry.

The Dark Cherry is a great color. I got mine in Septemper and love it. I live just North of Philadelphia, lots of cars, but have not seen another. The black on black is awesome, but I like the cherry for me. I love starting the car with the remote so that I can hear it. Why should everyone get to hear it but not me. Had a 2000 Bonneville SSEI, which I loved, but this is a lot more fun to drive. This is the 1st car that both my wife and I jumped on, she loved the color, I loved the power.

Nice pick up! I would love a GXP. Power has to be awesome compared to your 97 GTP.

Dave!

I had a 93' Black Rose Corvette! That is a sweet, rare color, and the GP looks very similar, are you sure it isn't the same GM paint code #?
