Not having speed 1 and the rattling that goes on during any other speed is too annoying.

Can someone tell me the part number for this?

Also are there any good write ups to replace this?

you can do a search on this to maybe get the part number, but you can just go to the dealer and tell them what you need. i think i remember herc saying that it's around behind the dash around the center of the dash.

i needed one for my toyota truck, i just called the dealer and they said they'd have it the next day for me!

I just went through the pain of changing it out last week. It is under your passenger side dash. It is about 1/4" from the firewall. Total PITA to change.

It also turned out not to be my issue. It was the ignition switch. $300 at the dealership.
