I'm thinking about getting HID lights in my fogs has anyone done this? I have heard it could melt the plastic

Yeah you're going to need a glass lens as the HIDs are too hot for the plastic one.

I guess people have issues with them "melting". I guess my lenses are melted, but I guess I just don't notice at all.

See my fog lights are already pretty crumby on the out side so I don't think I could do much more damage with the hids in there.
ordonez where did you mount yours
