I don't see it getting 14 hp gain. Probably 5-10. I'd say go ZZperformance.com or pfyc.com to see if there are other brands. I don't think any that made them are still in business.

Making one is the best if you have time. I'm not a fan of open cone as it gets full underhood heat and dirt and salt (depending on your area) there.

CAI the filter is in a box or position of the vehicle where it draws "cold" air. Hot air intake is an open cone/elemant and draws air from the engine compartment. That air is hotter then the ambient air the CAI gets. On a hot day the CAI will pull in air that is the out side temp so if it's a 90* day the air going into the filter will be 90*. On a hot air the under hood temps can get to over 150* That hot air is what the hot air intake grabs. The colder the air the denser the air, the denser the air the more oxygen is used. The more oxygen that is used the more power the motor will make.

i feal dumb but what is the easiest way to get a oil filter off i always have problems with getting it off? i have a oil filter socket which helps but then it is too big and you cant get the wrench off when u loosen it any tips? and i change my oil myself

ha alright and another question why do i have terrible mpg. its at 17.7 after a long interstate or highway drive then intown about 17.3 is the lowest its been and it has recently had oil change so thats not it. anything to look into and my engine could haave a gouged engine wall so does that mean oil or something is getting into the mixture? and sorry for getting so off topic

You mean about 1700-2000. Sounds about right 1700 on the flats 2k up a hill.
