GTP's never got vacuum modulated transmissions, not even the 97's so his will not have that valve.
I'll watch the video tomorrow and post back with some suggestions as well.
When you changed superchargers, did you keep your old throttlebody or did the new supercharger come with one?

Answer to R.S. It's the same throttle body I had, my friend didn't have the throttle body for that supercharger. And answer to you Hercman, It doesn't go away when it's warmed up it just idles faster whic males tht awful noise even worse : /

Ok, thin that get me tho man is it used to do this noise I replace the vacuum lines and it quit the noise completely (with cone filter, same set up in video) so I don't know why it would just start out of nowhere. I might try to replace the throttlebody and the gaskets on the EGR cause I used vacuum caps yesterday and that didn't do anything to change the idle. Also I unplugged IAC, MAF and TPS and the car still ran? I don't think thts normal -all was unplugged at the same time-

That noise is normal with a cone however its not the issue. You have a big vacuum leak somewhere. Thats likely why it still ran the way it did with tb sensors unplugged. Try using rtv gasket maker to seal the tb instead of using a paper gasket.

Ok I'll try that and see if it still does it... I hope not : / what would be the chances of it being a cracked lower intake?

multiple random misfire is bad plugs and wires. P0507 seems to point right back to my assumption: bad IAC.

off topic somewhat, but if the open cone filter makes the noise what filter should you run? i have the cone filter on my gtp and its pretty loud. so i was wondering if there is a better filter to run? obviously without going back to stock airbox.

The opening of the car's sinus system is what you're hearing with the cone and CAI. Now that she can breath better, she can ingest more air. If the sound of American power disturbs you, my best suggestion is to go back to the either a stock airbox or gutted stick airbox, but the power and efficiency gains are going to be negligible compared the CAI/FWI. The best filter that I've heard about is the 4" tapered cone. Not sure the inner diameter, but iirc, it's 2.25". Or something like that. I use K&N part number RE-0870, and that's the same thing the blown dudes use.
