You can let the PCM sit there. I did for years with no issues.

No the pipe size has no corrolation to engine size and the engine is 3.8 not 3.5.

Iirc you change the S/C oil every 50,000 miles. There is a plug on the snout. You pull the fluid out of there and fill to the bottom of the threads. it's just under two bottles for S/C oil.

The oil is the worst smelling stuff you've ever smelled. To get it out I've found hand soap dispensers work great. Take the pump squirter off the soap. Rinse it out then stick the tube in the hole and pump the oil out.

you need a street coupler to run a PVC pipe. If you go to home depot or lowes and look for street couplers you'll find what you need. It's a rubber coupler that is bigger on one end then the other. The big end goes on the MAF the small end goes to the pipe. Drill a hole in the coupler to mount the air temp bulb.

Actually i had it backwards. The small end goes to the MAF the big end to the pipe. Mine has a 45* elbow in the coupler.

i was thinking about going and buying a dryer vent tube... also i was told at a local hardware store that PVC pipe is only graded to 60 degrees... isnt basic shower piping made of pvc? if so a normal shower is 110 easy...

No need to worry about the temp and the PVC. It's been used for years in these cars without issue.

i just went to advanced auto and bought the parts individually (which are a chromed plastic and seem lighter than PVC) and put 'em together in total it was under $60. Plus it looks better than PVC :P

I took out my headlight and put the filter in the fender. I cut the end of the housing that originally held the fog lights. I use the 4inch diameter fog light housing as a Ram Air port. A 4 Inch Plastic Plumbing 90 Degree elbow Rams it right into the Cone filter. Now for Inside the Engine Bay. 2 aluminum 4 inch diameter 90 degree elbows as straight as possible then a 45 degree adjustment and into a 4 inch piece cut from original tube. Large hose clamps hold it all on! Then I wrapped the pipe nicely with Duct Insulation(The shiny chrome space shuttle type). I extended the 2 wire air temp sensor down inside the fender also and made a black fiber strap for the Computer(similar to a trunk battery box strap)

when i bought the parts for my CAI they are about a half inch too small... i used hose clamps to tighten the stock MAF holder or w/e to the new parts and all seems nice and snug and nothing bad has happened yet... i should be ok?

Just keep an eye on it periodically to ensure nothing has fell off. After a couple checks and you have no issues then I would only worry about it when I check the oil.

ya i have checked it quite a few times i didnt know if the MAF would read wrong seeing how smaller hole means faster air... but then again it would let out fuel accordingly no matter what right?

Did you buy any kind of spray degreaser while you were there?
Engine bay needs some attention.
