This may come as laughable to yall, seeing as how much I work on my own rides, buuuUUUUUt...I mixed 5W-30 and 10W-30. What results can I expect? The only thing I can think of is that I'm effectively running 7.5W-30 now. Both ratings were of full-synthetic high mileage oil.

(wow I feel retarded for even asking this question...)

Not much difference... 5w is a lighter oil than 10w... once the oil gets hot... they are all about the same weight.
The weights help for start up.

You should be fine

I've done it numerous times. Don't worry about it.
