Ram air is really pretty useless to begin with. For it to even be effecting your speed has to be approaching triple digits. I wouldn't worry about a "functional" ram air set up.

you would waste your money on a functional ram air setup. if you want a "semi" functional ram air setup, buy one of the following hoods, SD ram air hood or the SLP GTX ram air hood. they both have inlets through the front nostrils that lead over to the intake side of the engine bay. the SD also, has openings on the back of the hood to let the heat escape so that you dont suck it back in through the intake.

Yes you would need a new lid for the airbox to make a ramair functional. But at the end of the day your "functional" ramair set up will not be any better then the CAI is. Hoods with heat extractors are WAYYYYYYYYY more "functional" then any ramair set up you can put on a GP.

Not really. Especially when you take that diagonal brace out. The problem I had was that I'm short. My arms just don't like to reach halfway across the engine bay, so getting the intake tube onto the throttle body took a lot longer than it should have. The 9x4" tapered cone takes a little bit of finagling to get in, but it can be done without the removal of the diagonal brace.

do you really have to add a extension onto the wires to reach the maf?

the intake air temp sensor often gets extended with a CAI system.

ive never seen an IAT sensor get extended due to a cai system. all of the current systems have pretty much solved all of those problems. the IAT sensor locations on the cai's are fairly close to the TB now, some are even too close, because the IAT hole on my K&N intake is almost under the rubber couple holding the tube to the tb.

I moved my IAT sensor to the wizaird box, so I extended the sensor wires a little.
