So, the driver's seat in my '99 GT has seen far better days and I need to replace it or get it repaired. In searching around about replacements, I've found posts and info about putting '04 and up seats in.

I've read that the front seats from the sedan do no fold forward as they do in the coupe (obviously, there's no need for them to). First, is that true? I don't really have a way to confirm that. If that's true, I'm assuming I'd have the same issue with the '04 and up seats as, if I understand correctly, there weren't anymore coupes produced after the '97-'03 run.

So, I think I'm at the point where I either find a good set of seats out of a model match or have mine fixed. Am I right on this?
