Anyone install or have instructions on how to install this:

I am confused on the two small red and black wires with the metal male ends.

The red metal go to top of red cover fuse. Remove the nut out and slide this red metal in. If it is too small on this stud then drill it to make a bigger hole like I did on mine. The black metal wire go down by battery tray. You could see stock black wire down there on car frame. That's what I put mine together.

I need to know the small ones, unless I got wrong harness.

Oh I think I have it on my DD car few weeks ago. I didn't do anything on it so I think you will be fine.

Never mind I'm too tired from working since 6am. I don't know what is your question for this. This is VERY EASY set up. Picture of how to hook it up tell it all. That's what I did on my both cars.

In second pic, blue and black wires, what socket do they go in?
My two wires are red and black, but they should be same thing.

Make sense to me. I was confused you are talking about red/black wires. On picture that blue and black that I never have it on both cars. I would say you might got a wrong one. Which one you got? 9007 (stock headlight) or H3 (projector)

I have H3 relay on my show car with projector.
I have 9007 relay on my dd car with stock headlight.

They should go in to your blue headlight plug on the car. Remove the blue and black wire and insert the red/black pins instead.

Now I have a fresh brain. Now I do remember that. Mine is totally different than what you have. I have a blue plug relay connect on this car. I only lost high beam on pass side so no big deal. HID is brighter than projector high beam anyway.

Ive tried all kinds of things, but I can't get them to turn on.
Anyone with pics?
This blue plug plugs into the blue plug from the vehicle.
Do I unplug these and connect the red/black wires into the vehicle plug?

Found this one, it is setup differently

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-Fuse-...=item1c1bb3d6f3

There is a plug where the red/black wires are.
And each ballast plug has its own ground.

I gave up so far, unless someone has more info.
www.vvme.com just sends me that same video I posted.
I've tried that and I still can't get the lights on.
I may try the small wires directly to battery.
I'll post back, if I try it again.

I finally pull my show car out of garage since early August from Pontiac Nationals. Anyway, I take it spin around. I checked mine so I see my relay harness is totally different than your.

I totally remember guy at clubgp say 9007 relay harness will work on this projector BUT you will lose pass. high beam. That's all. I don't need high beam anyway. It look like a crap than HID anyway.

There is mine. Relay harness plug than what you have.

I see that wire thing you are confused. Mine was connect from HID bulbs. There is mine. It was from my driver side as I don't have a good view on pass side. I don't feel like to pull headlight out to see it anyway. So I guess you gotta try plug that relay harness on blue wire from red wire then black wire on black wire if it does help.

Good luck! If no luck then maybe get 9007 relay harness better than nothing.

I think I need the 9007 relay harness.
Looks like the connector to the factory harness has more wires, thus signaling the HIDs to turn on.

I purchased the 9007 harness with blue connector.
I wired it up and I am still getting no headlight output.
This so simple install is being a PITA.
Can someone help me out, this is so annoying.

I get the one highbeam to work, pass side, but I am not getting the HID bulbs to light up.

The HID and projector purchase hasn't been one of my better purchases.
I can't get correct lighting on the road either, adjusting the damn projectors.
They look sweet, but perform like crap.

I made progress finally.
Some of the connections suck.
the blue connectors suck, so loose.
Had that issue with other harnesses.

But the issue is that I get HIDs to light up only
if the highbeam is turned on in the car.
I don't understand that.
That is why I wasn't getting output.

The blue connector on those harnesses are typically set up for a 9004 socket.

In my hid thread in the faq I explain this smile hah jk, no one reads those.

But honestly, the low and hi beam lead in the blue socket of your new harness need to be switched to be correct for a 9007 bulb.

If harness was for a 9007 setup then why should I have to custom remake the harness?
So I have to play around with the three wires in the socket of the harness that connects to car harness to get this setup to work?

What a joke and a was of money on two harnesses.
Should of just wired it all myself from the beginning.

Check the blue plug on your new harness, it may not be wrong and something else could be the issue.

Should go like this

This is my harness blue plug

So I should put the blue wire where the red wire is?

Hmm, that looks right, not making much sense unless you are splicing them into the wrong spots.

On that harness where are you splicing the red wire to on that blue plug you're holding? Not quite sure why it is cut? It should go to the relay so it can turn the relay on and draw power from the battery rather than the stock headlight harness when the low beam is on.

Do you have a link to the harness you are using?

Not splicing, that is how it comes.
The ends are snipped, but I stripped them assuming the red and black wires are used.... frown

Initially I purchased this one, since Tim said this is what I need since I am using H1 bulbs in my projectors:

9007 harness is right.

The red wire on your harness you're holding up goes to the relay so that when the low beams are on the ballasts are receiving power. When high beam goes on, relay turns off and power goes to your high beams.

Here is what my harness looked like. Forget about colour of the wire in my harness, the red wire coming off the blue plug on my harness goes to the high beam bulb, which should be your blue wire. My pins are correct in the socket, just the wire colours are opposite.

Also, forget about the top harness, that was for my hid fogs.

So you can see, coming out of the relay on mine is 1 plug for each ballast, 1 fused 12v wire, 1 ground wire, and the blue plug with the high beam bulb socket.

Ya that won't work either.
The middle two wires are black.
The right is blue the left is red
like your 9007 diagram.
A black and the blue is going to the relay.
A black and the red are just sitting bare.
I can't tell much from your picture.
I am lost on this wiring.

OKAY! That's what's wrong. Your harness is like mine in that the red wire is actually the high beam wire.

Move the blue pin to where the red wire pin is in now in your blue plug. The blue wire in your blue plug is actually your low beam signal wire for the relay. The red and black wire that you're holding in the pic are for your high beam bulb.

On the projector harness that came with the projectors, it should have come with the red/black wires with the high beam bulb plug already connected to the blue plug. Remove those 2 wires/pins from the projector harness and move them to the 9007 harness and put them in the high beam and ground spots. That way you don't need to cut and solder any wires.

If you don't understand since this could be a little confusing I'll try and draw a picture or something.

That was what I was waiting for.
I figured this is what you were meaning but it wasn't coming across clearly.
Doesn't make sense that you have to rewire something to make it work in this way.
I figured the wires needed to be switched.

I would like to see pictures of peoples light output with HIDs or projectors from inside the car.
Because mine light up the road like crap.

If the harness is the exact link you posted, it's a 9004/9007 harness and I see them mixed up all the time.

Did you get it straightened out and working correctly now? I'll draw a pic if you didn't.

My 1 projector was weird and the cutoff was backwards. Quite annoying but was still huge improvement over stock. I don't have any pics and the car is demodded now so can't help ya there. Sorry.

No I haven't been able play with it again.
I probably going tinker around with cutoffs too.
Thanks for the help.
Sucks we have to fabricate to the parts to make them
Work.

I finally tackled this today.
It works.
Poor built products and design are of cause.

Randall, I also had one cutoff turned opposite than the other.
You said you took yours out?
What is the purpose of the cutoffs?
I had one with the round edge up and the other with the sharp
edge up.
Which is correct?
I just want the road lite up, and ever since getting the HIDs and projectors, I don't see the road very well.

Right now I took out the cutoffs, to experiment.

Cutoffs are cutoffs. They cut the light off at a specific point so you can aim them without glare going above that. Regular halogen lamps have a flat point where the light kinda stops, but it still spills above it. Cutoffs stop the light period and are what create the solid line of light/no light that shows in your beam pattern. High beam usage should be the only occurrence of no cutoff with projectors and HIDs especially.

Eh, finally got to see the road this morning.
On my way to work at 1:45 am, I was able to turn the
screw on one headlight to even out the pattern of both,
enabling a nice view of the road way.
Finally after a year of laziness and poor visibility I can
see.
