I've been sitting contemplating what to do with my Grand Prix. Always one to never leave things well enough alone (lol).

I'm probably going to get me some stock springs to put back on it, cause I prefer a more comfortable ride to being low to the ground. If I do this, I'm probably going to grab a set of 18" rims to fill the wheel well.

I also want some seats to replace the factory one, especially the driver seat which has lost its plushness. Anyone know what seats will swap with ours with little to no modification? Preferably in charcoal.

Next, headers. My Pacesetters just want to leak all the time. I'm tempted to get a set of the wbs stainless headers, on the other hand I'm hoping I can fix the leak on these. Even further in the recess of my mind, I'm like screw it, turbo the damn thing. How well does the XP cam play with a turbo?

Stock rims look best on a stock ride height IMO. Once you put on some bigger rims it actually looks worse without lowering it. You may feel different, but that is how most people feel. If you can manage to find a pair of Vogtland springs, grab them up. They lower nicely and have a great ride quality.

04+ front seats fit without any modifications.

XP goes very well with a turbo. smile Lots of people run that combo. Ask me any questions you like!

Ok, so whats the best way to make your own turbo manifolds? I'd be doing this on the cheap, welding it myself. I have some old 3800 cast iron manifolds still laying around. The flanges off them could be salvaged if I wanted to go that route.

For the turbo I'd be getting a precision for around $500 new, unless I found a used one for a steal.

If you really want to go budget you can just weld a t4 flange on the stock crossover. Cut a hole in it and weld the flange on.

Or you can copy a crossover from a vendor using stock crossover flanges and a t4 flange and stainless pipe.

For the rear manifold you can flip the #6 primary and reweld it to face towards the crossover.

For front you can either leave the stock manifold or again copy a plog.

Things to ponder... hmmmm. What size turbo should I be looking for as far as compressor and exhaust housing size?

18" wheels with stock springs and monroe sensa tracs

19" wheels with ssc springs and monro sensa tracs(for what its worth, my ssc/monroe combo handles better than when new if you ask me)

also, you can find the new gp seats to bolt right in, or you can go the route that tbat did awhile ago and run regal seats...

That's what I'm talking about! Not the style of rims I want for my car, but it definitely shows that they look fine at stock height.
