97 GTP tranny issue

Hi.. I was wondering if anyone could help me. My GTP occasionally likes to go into a hard shift mode. You can tell when it is going to happen cause you can kinda feel it almost slip a little then you get the hard shifting. Here is the weird part, if I put the car in neutral while driving and turn the ignition off then back on and put it back into gear, it will shift fine.

Yeah, one of the most common issues with these transmissions. Pressure control solenoid is bad. It's inside the transmission. $40 part, about $300 labor or so.
