Got a 99 gp supercharged. What is the easiest way to replace the oil pan gasket. I don't have a lift bur I do havean engine hoist

You need to lift the car up, use something to support the engine (hoist will work), then unbolt the motor/tranny mount. After that, unbolt the front sub-frame bolts, loosen the rear ones, and let it slowly lower down in the front. This should give you enough room to allow the oil pan to clear the pickup tube.

Ok will car ramps work or do i need the front tires off the groind

I'm not sure if ramps will work or not. We fixed our leaky gasket when we swapped out transmissions! I'm curious to see what the answer is. I'm thinking you would need the tires off the ground though so the cradle would be able to drop down.

Also, we didn't put a new gasket on ours. Cleaned everything up real good and put some black rtv sealer on both sides of the gasket and put it back on. It seemed to work as the car doesn't leak anymore from the oil pan or the tranny!!
