After 5 examinations, many docs, and 5 months of abdominal pain
the HIDA scan suggests I have a sluggish gallbladder.
Next stop to visit the surgeon.
Any further complications once removed?

My wife had hers removed. Only downside she's complained of is oily foods tend to pass alot faster. And movements are more frequent. Well maybe losing a foot of colon has a part in that. Anyways only worry you should have is infection like anything else.

Had mine removed... 10 years ago? As stated, some foods will pass quicker and more frequent bathroom visits, at first anyway. I think my body has adjusted now and I don't really go anymore than I used to.

I used to have horrible abdominal pain, this cured it and I've seldom visited the doctor since.

Had the surgery. All went well.
Light duty for a few weeks.
Sort of eating anything in site due to
lack of appetite from pain prior to surgery.
