I have an 01 grand prix 3.8 supercharged Gtp. I recently replaced the supercharger and can't get the car to start now. Before I began work I looked up what info I could find on doing this myself and no where did it say the supercharger bolts have to be torqued down. Now some of you may say well this is obvious or something like that this is my first Grand Prix and I absolutely have fell in love with it. With as many Grand Prix owners as I seem to have come across why isnt there more info for helping us less savy owners. I had to call my local chevrolet dealership to get torque specs for supercharger and then asked about throttle body torque specs and they said 17 ft lbs for supercharger bolts and 89 ft lbs for throttle body now tell me what's wrong with that a certified service department said 89 ft lbs for throttle body I think it should be 89 inch lbs chime in guys and let's make sure we get the right info to potential new owners who face this issue
