I guess I have no idea where the poly mounts are located but I'm looking to possibly replace them with some new ones.

http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=130&catid=138

Thats the link to the pair that I can get but im not sure exactly where they're located and wondering if one of you can post a pic or explain where they are so I can check them as well to see if they are ok and if they even need to be replaced.

These go in the upper mounts, the ones bolted to the core support where the dog bones mount. You have to get the stock rubber ones pressed out and these pressed in.

Oh wow! I feel almost retarded but it doesnt look like a part that would fit there...I was thinking it was something on bottom side of engine. Would it be worth it for me to get them on my GT?

Polly mounts will keep the motor from rocking thus putting less stress on all the other mounts. I say go for it. But dont get the offset. Get the regulars.

Sounds like a simple mod, I take it you just remove the top mounts or is it part of it?

You unbolt the dog bones from the big piece (circled in the pic). Then unbolt the big piece from the core support, take them to a shop that has an arbor press and have them pressed out and the new ones pressed in. The reinstall and brag that you now have poly mounts.

If you ever plan on headers. Never buy them. If you dont plan on headers. Knock yourself out.

I know of no places that have an arbor press. Yah I should maybe do a mod that I know for certain I can do myself and one that needs to be replaced. If theres another way to press them in without an arbor press im up for that. Oh and dont worry im sure I wont forget to brag lols.

Most repair shops have a press. SOme vehicles require the wheel bearings pressed in and out. SO most places have them. If not I'm sure you could take your dear old time and cut the old ones out them possibly use a rubber mallet to pound the new ones in. It will be time consuming tho.

I'll take poly mounts over a guage pod and guages. I want rid of my pillar mounted boost guage. Its is PITA more than anything.

Well true, and I have my volts meter already down in the lil change holder area. It's really the only guage I see being useful to me considering i have the 3 amps in back and cap. Other then that I guess guages would be useless to me. As for the poly mount, I want to do it but not sure how that would go. I'm considering a strut brace bar now (change mind quickly but I guess you guys are here to help me make a gd decision). If it wasnt for your response shaker I probably woulda boughten the poly mounts and gotten them and wondered what to do.
