You can try sticking the poly mounts in the freezer then pounding them in with a rubber mallet.
Yes, that spacer is BS.

I got the intense polys (for both front and rear of the upper mounts), they made a noticeable difference. But then again, my lowers are shot.

Well I went out and looked at my stock rubber mount and its very small. I'm still not 100% sure where these poly mounts go. Does anyone have a write up or a picture with the new poly mounts in?

I could take some pics, but they really don't look much different from stock. They're solid, but that's it.

The poly ones don't fit totally inside the dogbone mount. There's a lip on em.
Installing the new ones requires nothing more than a mallet, simply because it's a tight fit.
Getting the old ones out however, is a real PITA. I suggest WD-40, a few hack-sawy blades, and a couple beers.

Ok just remove your dog bones the part were the dog bones mount to the rad side are the rubber bushings you will replace ,you can remove the stock bushing using a sharp thin serated bladed knife cut a wedge out and they will pound out easy ,as far as putting the new ZZP poly bushings in they're easy since they're two piece they just tap in with a small mallet ,all in all they should take about ten minutes to replace .Chico(pops)

Honestly, for a GT with your mods, I would just rotate your stock mounts 90* and that should be pretty close to the gain from ZZP's mount and it's free!
I noticed a lot smoother shifts, especially 3rd to 4th, and a little better pickup since the engine wasn't moving as much.
It's worth a try at least, if you're not satisfied then go ahead and order the ZZP ones.

I rotated mine as well and they did work a little better.
However, the agony of trying to actually TURN them is another story...

Well like everyone has said the stock ones are satan when it comes to getting out, ill be glad that i can just cut them so i dont have to reuse them or try to even rotate them, sounds like a huge pain.
