Took me 10 minutes to rotate mine.

Just take the dogbones off and put the screw and bolt back in mount and tighten them up as tight as you can. Then take some WD-40 and spray around all the edges of the mount. After that just take 2 sockets on either end and rotate forward. It takes a little effort but if you used enough WD-40 there should be absolutely no "agony" involved.
