I was wondering if an in dash dvd player with a 7" monitor will clear the upper part of the dash? I dont know how far the screen would come out so thats why im asking. Any problems with this?

You may want to check and see if by law you can do it. I know if it's on while the car is moving, your busted. Atleast in 3 states that I know of.

Yes, I think one of our "non-regulars" was here trying to sell one.

yeah here in texas its illegal to drive with a tv on but the cops don't enforce it unless you are doing something else like speeding or racing. it gives them something to add to the fine. And it also gives them an excuse to search the car because i've known several people that were pulled over and the cops said there were reports of a "CAR" that was showing porn on there in car tv and since that is concidered public indcency they are allowed to search your car for the vidoes and if they find anything oh well.

I never understood why you'd want to drive and watch T.V. at the same time...

i'm would say that it would, like bobby said, somebody had one on here for sale but needed the money or something. i just can't remember which member it was. he made a couple post about it, maybe you can do a search for it and see if anything comes up about it.
