Is there any benefit to having non-stock plug wires with Autolite 103s? I purchased the PRJ wires with my 103s but have not recieved any of it yet. Is it worth it or should I return the wires and stay with stock?

Are those the $120 wires? The 10.4 mm? Those I believe are the best, but if you want to save some money, just get OEM wires that is the best alternative (but without any color).

Yes, those are the wires that you are referring to. What benefit do they give me over stock wires?

I've heard that you can't get much better than OEM plug wires.

Any proof to back that up?

I've never heard of OEM plug wires failing before they should.

I have heard of other aftermarket wires failing before they should.

Good enough for me.

The nice thing about PRJ wires is that they usually last the life of the car... If you have one that fails I've heard he's real good about repairing them.

Stock wires are good, but I'm not sure if they last as long as PRJ's...

I believe ZZP uses OEM plug wires on their 9-second GP. I don't think it gets much better than that.

My only problem with OEM wires is that I've heard plenty of stories of them getting brittle and then breaking when you change your plugs.

I was extremely careful doing my plugs and I still broke one of my OEM boots.

My MSD cables have been just fine, and I can change my plugs without worrying that I'll tear the boot apart.
