long story short, make life easier on your body man and leave the stuff inside and protected. also let the clear cure for a week b4 installing. you wont chip as easy. also leave wax off the fresh paint for about 3-5 months so the clear and finish curing. (think of it as concrete, it may feel dry but its still not cured right away.)
Nice thing about the inferno hood is it has a gelcoat on it which will help resist this oil, chips etc that you are talking about. The body shop I talked to said it would be very easy for them to sand it down even if I've had hood on for awhile.

Gelcoat won't protect against dings and scratches, stay away from 18 wheelers lol

IMO looks tacky just wait for paint.

Good luck with it bro.

The Evil Jack-o'-lantern. Car is dirty and littered with bugs from last nights driving, sorry. Going to hold off washing for a few days on newly painted stuff. I think this is a lot better then when it was stock w/ casino wheels devilsmile ... Can't wait to see it with clean tires:D

Decided not to because it would have really jacked the price up. The grilles are going in friday to be painted black but other then that, that is it.

That is absolutely bitchin' cool that last hi-angle 3/4 shot in the driveway with the sun glinting on the front fender...just bloody sweet!

Jack-O-Lantern? maybe...I like "Prometheus" the Greek god that gave fire to man in defiance of Zeus.

I did some variations on some artwork I posted a while back over on GPONA...any one of these might make some cool accent decals for your car.

Looks beast dude now you just need some nice looking rims. IMO those do not match the car at all.

I'm going to leave car as is over winter, then I will get rear extension painted body color, fix headlight, and paint wheels black. Paint job was a little more then expected so I'm a little short on funds now.

So are those functional heat extractors? Car looks sick. Glad you didn't go with the 2 tone look.

Well sort of functional. They let out a little bit of heat as to my knowledge. I haven't heard of anyone doing any tests but I know that after driving the heat extractors on hood are hot and the air inlets are cold.
