so i started my car up today and starting driving and i heard a bell sound like when my door is open. it dinged 4 times then stopped. it went on the whole time i was driving to school but it was inconsistant. sometimes there would be a 45 second pause in between and other times it would just keep going. what does this mean?

Are you referring to the bells of the door? If so, disconnect the battery terminal for 20-30 minutes to reset it.

Is your trunk latched? Seatbelt on?

Maybe you were driving with your turn signal on and didn't know it, they will cause that if you leave it on a while. Happened to me once while on a long trip, I changed lanes and and heard the ding sound but imediately flipped the turn signal off. I don't how long it would ding though if you didn't catch it. Hope that helps

think back... if it dinged everytime you hit a bump, your trunk probably isn't completely latched...that's happened on mine numerous times (my 2 year old son likes to play with my keyfob)

Close your trunk and the bell will stop.

Maybe you were low on gas? Mine dings a couple times when I go down a hill, then dings again the next hill I go down. Sometimes I hear it ding 3 or 4 times before my tank is actually running "low".

I'm gonna say it was the trunk also. That happened to me a couple of times before.
