Well, this has turned into another one of my never ending projects.

Still waiting on machine time for the TB flange on the intake manifold. Should be able to get some exhaust work done next weekend.

Hopefully it's only a few more weeks.

When he starts this thing up I'll be able to hear the compressor intake rush all the way up here in VA. Along with the crys of small animals and the occasional errant child playing near his house. lol

j/k Corey, but I'm willing to bet it will make a ferocious howl when it spools (like a 747 taking off?) I'm guessing it will raise an eyebrow or two at the strip as well...maybe we have to start calling you "Turbonez" ??

Uh oh... apparently a downpipe is necessary, lol. We have no room for it with these custom headers.

Gotta figure something out...

In other news, the intake manifold is done, just finished mounting it for the first time. It fits great and looks good, too. It will go on permanently Monday night or Tuesday.

Going to be ordering some aluminum for the intercooler stuff this week.

It won't fit anywhere, even with the smaller brake booster... The rear headers take up the entire spot where the DP would normally go. I will take some pictures tonight/tomorrow to try and get some ideas.

Track or street car? Nvm I had a very bad idea lol

You ever think about rotating the turbo? Having the exhaust facing the headlight? Not the nicest looking setup but it fixs that issue. I know of 2 people who did a setup like that. They had to add an extra flex but it worked.

Just sayin its an option. My other idea was much more extreme wink

Out the fender wink

I want it to be a drag car that gets driven on the street. Do you have a picture of the headlight setup?

I'm really trying to get it under the car, but I'm going to have to do some cutting, I think.

As you can see by these next 4 pics, the headers cover the whole tunnel. Looking for some clever ideas.

And here's a couple for fun.

Curious.

I wonder who has the longest running turbo out there.

either youre gonna have to scrap the rear header for a more compact set-up or you may have to exit the exhaust through the fenderwell behind the front tire.

No, scratch that, you'll be too close to the incoming fuel lines.

Turbo zoomie stack going thru the hood? laugh

Intake manifold is bolted in for the final time as of earlier tonight. Looks great, pics tomorrow.

Gonna clean up some wiring mess tomorrow, too.

Gotta do an LIM job on a 3400 tonight. Yuck.
