I think *nearly* everyone who has gone turbo, was supercharged first.

The M90 can only take you so far. Even the hybrid M112 hits a wall early.

If I was building the ultimate track car I'd go turbo as well.

For street use fun stuff etc I'll keep the S/C. Love the instant low end torque plus it just looks cool. wink

Yes, but you can make just as much, probably more since you can have a better intake, with a turbo only.

And it's not nearly as hard or complicated as twin-charge.

pretty much. for the most part, supporting mods and reducing pulley diameter will be more than ample to hold your own on the street, and, if you stay off the happy pedal, might even increase your fuel mileage.

Depends on your definition of a street car wink

Just because the car needs slicks doesn't mean you can't drive it on the street.

And this project is back underway a bit as I got a break from school until the middle of January and then graduation. So I have to get moving on this.

Ordered front and rear powerlogs along with a Z7 crossover through the For Sale section of ClubGP. Also ordered a kit to finish the intercooler piping.

All that is left (I think) is the downpipe.

The vinyl is a PITA. I'm not sure what I'll do with that. Once I get it running I might try to find a better material to wrap it with, as this stuff sucks to work with.

BTW, that Matt Berger guy is impossible to get a hold of. lol. I have all of the intercooler piping and the hot side piping except his part (rear plog) that I can't seem to track down.
