The only thing i'm completely against is spending 480 bucks on that exhuast...gtp's exhaust's aren't that restrictive after the cat...if you must, you should take it to alocal exhuast shop and have them put on some bigger pipe and some FM 40's...but i'll let someone with actual experience cime in and correct me...

I'd take the tranny cooler out as well.

1/4 mile times vary by car not even gonna guess.

If you've built cars before you know you have to plan your build ,how far and fast do you want to be ? Because if you only plan on rockers (no cam) I would'nt suggest Pacesetter headers the primaries are to large for a mild car as far as the tranny cooler I'm with Herc on that I'd skip it ,pulley size should be picked after you install your mods & check for KR and then drop sizes .Chico(pops)

The MSD coils are a waste of money, stock are fine. Also, you don't need a new tranny gasket. The stock one is reusable.

Instead of the exhaust, the money would probably be better used by investing in a Powrtuner so you can tune it yourself.

I'd drop the exhaust for a custom one.

Forget the MSD Ignition coils as they're no better than stock.

Go for a fenderwell or cai on the intake. Open cones are alright, but you'll see better gains with the other two.

I'd also suggest upgrading valve springs with the rockers. It's nice insurance against floating valves and you really don't want to have to go back in there later if you don't have to.

I'd avoid the pacesetters, but that's just me. I've got TOG's and am very happy with them. The quality on the pacesetters aren't the greatest from what I've heard.

PowrTuner is a must have if you want to get the most out of the car.

I'm not sure I'd go with the VPlus Booster or the Alternator rewire either. Seeing as these suckers can get finicky when you start messin' with the electronics, I'd save them for later and see if you really need them.

Anywho, that's just my $0.02...

Cant find the fender well for sale anymore probably get a used CAI/fender anyways why buy new thought performance is all about getting more for your money

pacesetters are usually hit or miss but if they don't completely fit send'm back thats what we do with the f-bods im willing to save the money

Im sure with the rockers, 105 Springs and retainers.. hopefully you can install these on the car with a air compressor holding the valve up? smile

on the DHP always paid to have my car tuned so yall would have to help me out.. I got a laptop for it already though

How fast can we make it go all I know is I don't want to throw in a cam that takes away the MPG since its gonna be my daily, maybe a IC? id like to see 12.5-13.2 with stock internals (besides rockers/springs)

Taylor 8mm Pro Wires $49.99
Aux transmission cooler $79.99
DHP $387.99
MSP TBv2 Upper Motor Mounts $69.99
High Ratio Rocker Arms (1.90:1 Ratio + Springs/Retainers) $405
High Velocity Throttle Body for the L67 (Stage 1) $199
Pace Setter Headers + Downpipe (catted w/ 02 extension) $400
Thermostat 160' Drilled $11
4t65e transmission filter $15
Wizaired Cold Air Induction System $234
2x FlowMaster Super 44 Mufflers (3") $158 reuse my stock tips

I think with all those mods and a 3.3-3.4, you would hit mid 13's, maybe. Don't get the plug wires, you don't need them. ZZPerformance has a 9.01 second Grand Prix and they use the stock wires. They are the best.

If you get an I/C then you will get low 13's pretty easy. But your transmission is going to hate you.

Yeah, valve springs can be done with an air compressor to hold the valves up. I've done it multiple times that way. Enough to do it with my eyes closed... crazy

I'd say somewhere around mid 13's would be right. That's what I was running with a setup close to what I have now.

A drilled 160 Tstat is overkill.

You can do a 160 with where we live, maybe. It gets pretty cold in the winter, so it'd probably still give you a code. A drilled 180 would be best.

good points, thats why i always make threads like this money here money there laugh I remember building my firebird bought all the big shit then it was little stuff like studs, bolts and stuff that killed me in the end.. I will take it easy most of the time then when it blows ill bring it down to john goebel have him put cryogenic parts in it

i'd really like todo 3.2-3.0 with a IC do it all at once instead of in steps (buying different belts, waisting gaskets)

OEM Plug wires 3800 $35
Aux transmission cooler $79.99
DHP Tuner $387.99
MSP TBv2 Upper Motor Mounts $69.99

High Velocity Throttle Body for the L67 (Stage 1) $199

You can run Taylor or MSD wires instead of stock. You gain color, not performance. I went with MSDs for the look, seeing as they cost the same as a set of OEM wires around here.
