Ah well if u don't have a gtp there is no performance mode so its always running at the performance setting

But I'm paying attention, because when I start modding my car, I plan on getting and intake, DP, and PCM all pretty much at the same time.

Would it be safe to build up the tranny a bit before installing a new pcm?? My tranny has a little over 145,000 miles on it and I don't want it to stop now...

its always safe to build up the tranny. but just a pcm is not going to hurt anything, if anything the raised line pressure will save wear on the clutches

Well i ended up ordering the zzp pcm considering later on when i do get higher up mods i can always bring it somewhere to get it custom tuned.

Thing is its been 2 days and its still pending...

I wouldn't worry about it. ZZPs service is really good.

My only complaint about them was that the copper gasket spray for my top-swap was on back-order. I just got it last week... months after I needed it smile

Also with a new pcm is it recommended to get a new t stat? Since i also just installed the CAI couldn't hurt to get one but was j.w

Don't know if it's required or not, but it's $10 and a very easy installation, so you might as well.

Not necassary with the PCM but a 180 tstat is a good upgrade anyways.
