My Drivers side window wont roll down and I am thinking the motor but the power locks dont lock it either. the comtrols work to lock the other doors but not the drivers door. Are these problems related? All the controls work from the door.

Id say you might have a faulty switch if both the window and door lock isnt working.

Yeah, that would be my guess as well. Can you operate the other windows and locks from the driver's master switch?

How about a loss of 12 volts to the switches?

im thinkin that its something eles beside the switch, only because no cant get driver door to lock.
your lock switch is separate from your window switch.

my master window switch for driver window had cracked underneath the panel. i knew somethings wrong cause that button felt loose... $92.00 + tax for new switch not installed.

now your lock... same thing happen to me but it was driver rear door, i rolled that window dowm a couple of times then slammed door hard, guess what?...lock worked again. american ingenuity and know how for the lock.

im thinkin that the lock and window are tied in somehow. try a little backyard mechanicin on one of these probs and you might fix them both.

Yes the Master switches can roll down the other windows just not the driver side door. The drivers side lock switch works to lock the other doors just the drivers door doesnt lock by switch or keyless pad.
