If in fact you have a 4T65e, then it is an entire mystery how the Dexron-III is getting in your crankcase, and you may have a problem with the "Pressure Control Solenoid" - the electronic version of a vacuum modulator. But don't worry, you're not the only one with the problem.

Yes in fact i was leaking over this module but i changed it and is ok now.
A problem that has nothing to do with the module cause it started before i changed it, is that i need to rev the engine to 3500-3800 to shift to 3rd gear, and usually is 2500-2800 rpm in a city driving right?? it is shifting as if i was racing no matter i'm running 3o mph.
I've read about the solenoid but my shifts are smooth and accurate but this. Do you believe that my PCM got disprogrammed?, should i disconect the battery to reset it???

I don't think you could have accidently set the PCM to case learn. maybe its time to replace the fluid and filter? jeez you've got some tough questions.

:p

you know i took it today to the mechanic and this thin hose that goes from the vaccum valve of the trans to the accel body, is sucking air, is like broken, could this affect, they say is because of the vacuum

I think you may be close to finished!

Alex it's a good idea to start replacing vacuum hoses and such as your car ages a lot of little things can cause big headaches ,simple as changing your sockes when they are worn out I HAVE TRIED TO STRESS TO YOU TO GET A SHOP MANUAL and get to know your car a lot of stuff you are able to do your self, and it will help you to be a little more mechanically literat so when you are dealing with mechanics you are able to better explain your problems,Later Chico.

Thanks Chico, believe me i've tried to do this little things by my self but i'm not too patient, so i end broking and throwing everything away, besides that i do not have the correct tools and start using a screw driver as a lever, you know, mexican engineering...jejeje

I assumed since you were sucking fluid, the line was fine....

Oh well. Is it fixed now?

Thank you PGP200GT,

Very helpful your answer, i changed the modulator, but this hose attached is broken, so the vaccum is fluctuating, i'm traying to buy this hose but it is not so easy, hope get it this week and i'll let you know how was it.

You can always use a rubber hose like the old style vacuum lines instead of the rigid plastic that auto manufactures are using now.
