I had some 8500 Xenons also. I did some reasearch, because they stunk after install, and found that the number 8500 has to deal with light color temperature. That high means it is very high on the spectrum and is more blue, actually hurting your vision and other drivers vision. Here is a crappy link, can't find the full detail one I read many months ago. I actually have some blue and green xenons. But I went for some silverstars. You want something in the range of 4500k-6500k.
