well, my car makes a hum and shakes when I'm at highway speeds (70-80mph). I think my hubs are gone. Is there a way to determine if one is bad?

Also, from what I've read about the hubs most people prefer the Timken's but at $130-150 a piece I was wondering if there was a comperable one that wont crap out quickly. I also read to stay away from the ebay hubs, can anyone confirm this?

Has anyone heard good/bad about these? (if they ask for a zip code use 48111)

Take a turn at a decent speed left then right. If the roaring sound gets louder on a left turn, it's the right bearing, and vice versa.

Napa has one PGB PBR930148 - listed for $119.00 Is this comparable to the Timken? Or should should you just spend the extra 40 bucks and get the Timken?

I would opt for the timken bearings a well known name in bearings, fyi the problem with the cheaper sets is the wheel speed sensor will fu soon after replacement so buy the quality part and move on .Chico.

Dynapak is made by Timken fyi. Unfortunately, it's nowhere near the same quality since it's made in China. Timken are the best bearings I've seen, period. I've had some of our cheaper bearings and dynapaks returned... never a Timken.
