One thing that bugs me, though, is: are ported intake manifolds really only 100 USD? Man, might as well snap that up at the same time, ya know?

Recoup the R&D and it is for serious modders. Not everything made by them is for everyone, like that for any company. Plus life ZZP keeps saying, the market for gps is just going downhill from here on out.

A ported manifold is not much work to do at all. If you get the top of it ported, its takes 10 minutes with a grinder. The runners being ported wouldn't help you at all (probably hurt your performance, actually) unless you had ported heads

big block chevy heads are about 3g's thats nuts for the price, and yes, thats about as much as most of these gp's are worth
