I have recently installed a smaller pulley (3.4) on my supercharger and have seen that when I initially install factory platinum spark plugs set at factory gap (.060) the engine begins to
misfire after a few days of driving. This misfire only happens when the supercharger is engaged. I have also installed Jacobs’s electronics ultra coils, Jacobs’s wires, and a Cold air induction system. The car ran fine with
the Jacobs and the cold air box but when I installed the pulley I experienced the problem. I have taken it to a Pontiac dealer and they diagnosed the Random Misfires. They blame it on the smaller pulley. I have now put NGK TR55 V plugs in and gapped them at .054 and even that didn't work. I have seen other people with similar set ups, but I have not seen this problem posted. Can anyone out there give me some suggestions?
