No it hasnt been wrecked no

Last weekend in May there is "Pontiacs in the Park" out at Va Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie VA. Drags and car show for the weekend and I didnt want to carry the car out there with the back bumper cover looking it had permanent bird dookie all over it where the clear coat is cracking and peeling.

So in the shop today for the bumper and trunklid and hopefully back on Friday. Also told him to paint the whole bumper black to eliminate the gray lower panel around the exhaust cutouts. plus I'm losing the nameplate on the trunk lid.

Looking forward to posting some before/after pics asap.

Got word this afternoon that he wasnt quite finished and the car will be held over until after the holiday weekend. As long as Ihave it back for "Pontiacs in the Park" last weekend of this month I'll be good.

Virginia Motorsports Park is holding their annual event next weekend and I plan on attending and grabbing so pics of some fast Ponchos as well as some cherry show cars.

Picked the T-Bat up this afternoon and he is lookin mighty fine. The trunk badging is gone and the lower panel all black...but best of all that unsightly cracking clearcoat is thing of the past.

Its practically begging for a lettering insert now...

I knew this would make the car look better but I didnt know it would look this nice.

Friday night will be clean up time and Saturday I hit the park, drags and car show.

Looks great T-Bat! I would go with the domed chrome inserts from Reflective Concepts, they would look absolutely perfect with your rims and tips!

I agree about the stainless steel inserts. Here are a few.

If the rear letters are the same size as the one's from a trans am, I would highy recommend emblempros.com I have purchased from them and they are a sponsor on lsitech. Maybe they can help you out with the rear letters at a decent price.
