Changing out the water pump and I noticed a couple of things.

All of my WP bolts have sealer on them, yet the shop manual I have makes no mention of using any sealer.

I have a blue FelPro WP gasket and I do not know if I need to use any silicone with this gasket. It feels like a blue plastic and has the words HI-TEMP molded into it.

Any other help prior to installation of the new pump would be helpful. The old one came out easily enough.
