ANY webpage that shows the stock 0-60 of a 1997-2003 GP Se/Gt/GTP??

This is rediculous!

I just want to know what the stock 0-60 time was for a 2002 GT

Tell ya what, Chunkee, lemme find the local 1/4 mile strip, see if I can afford a few good passes, and report what I find. The only mod I have to my 2000 GT is K&N filter and GatorBak belt. Would that be sufficient, or must the number come from an '02?

There is no need to waste your time (unless you want to do it anyways) I am just curious why I can't find a single bit of information on the stock 0-60 or 1/4 mile times for 1997-2003 grand prixs.

This all stems from one of my friends thinking his 2004 Toureg can beat my car 0-60. I looked up his time and its 7.9 0-60 stock. I remember finding a long time ago that a stock GP GT is 7.8 or something, I just need proof to show him he doesn't stand a chance (we are going to put this to the test this weekend anyways on an old abandoned road anyways).

I figure with my mods and using the 7.8 stock time I think it is I should be around 7-7.3 0-60 or better.

I would do a search on one of the car magazine sites...i.e. car and driver, motor trend or maybe road and track...see if they have any kind of archive on performance tests...or possibly an old test article.

Here's a large list of 0-60 times from publications. http://www.albeedigital.com/supercoupe/articles/0-60times.html

The GT isn't present, probably because no one tested it, they skipped straight to the top model.

Look at it this way: You'll be earning massive bragging rights when you beat them SUVs this weekend. Or at least shut-up power. Either way.

7.1 to 7.8, that is what I've seen on the internet.
