Anyone tried one of these? Sounds interesting, but the filter seems small and appears to really limit the volume of air that can be pulled in. Thoughts?

Not only are they ugly as sin, but I agree and think that they do look restrictive. You'd probably be better off with an open cone, at least you would get more airflow even though the air would be very warm!

I'd build my own CAI over that.

Isn't 70mm less then 3"?
You're better off gutting your airbox and installing a drop in K&N.
If you're looking for performance, I would leave that product for the ricers.
