Well, I got the best camera I could find, and found the sunniest/dry/non-wintery day I could so I could get some shots for the calender before it becomes too late. So if these don't make it I dont really know what to say, I detailed up the car a bit so it'd look nice, tried to abide by all the rules... Here they are. The side of my car isn't exactly one of the prettiest angles, but it does indeed have some looks and without having license plate covers i cant do a front or rear shot. But nevertheless here they are and I hope you guys enjoy and can pick out the best one. I took 20 other shots but camera im borrowing had a bunch of crap on lense that made those images terrible.

My favorite is the 2nd image..

It's kinda hard to get a good side shot of my car, considering the driver side of car has hood raised up a lil too much...and then the passenger side has the small dents on back quarter panel (which are actually less noticeable) so thats why I picked that side.

I hope one of these pictures works out good because there the only ones I have to work with and thats all Im going to be able to see that work. I see a few that will work and maybe one that wont...but im not sure ill let someone whose in charge deal with that. If we could (i know we cant) use photoshop I could easiley remove the dents to my second shot.

I believe their rule say no side, front and rear pictures. Just only corner like front bumper or rear bumper like my sig.

I know it is hard to make it perfect shot but it is not hard. I try my best as I can few weeks ago. Only problem is my picture is too wide. I have wrong size setting on my camera.

I think last one is much better but I know you have dent on it.

I think #1 will be the image that goes to the calender, either that or palsut's fav bottom one.

you can shoot whatever angle of the car you like as long as no license plate shows and it has the whole car in it.

I'm actually pretty fond of shot #3...it has a nice angle, the front wheel canted looks good and the elevated shot shows off the sunroof, hood and makes the rear spoiler look larger which helps it look more in proportion with the hood...the edge of the hood is not as noticeable as the dent in the other side...nice backdrop as well without it being to distracting. The yellow parking lines are much less noticeable as well.

#3 that quarter panel is too banged up. Plus the others the shadows are too overpering.

You can have full frontal or full profile.

Car must be framed by foreground and background.

When I try my 1st calender photoshoot in 2-3 years ago. My 1st choice was this... everyone say it is suck lol... I ask them why? duh... cars, garden hose, car wash soap on ground and any lousy backgroud. I just try look nice behind garden and pine tree.

1st choice

Then I try other best shot as I can. It turn out pretty good.

retake shot

yeah yeah yeah before you say it is ugly car... that's long time ago anyway wink

Just find any good location like tree, building wall, public parking garage and any nice background.
