will i lose any power or mess any thing up by getting rid of my catylitic converter and resinator and replacing it with straight pipe to the mufflers?

Resinator wont make any performance difference.
Cat will free up a bit of power, but nothing you wil notice.
I would reccommend keeping both.

resenator really ? ive seen videos that sounds great, but i dont know about the droning sound on the highway, but i bet it sounds beast for the money isntead of new mufflers.

Running without a catalytic converter is a $1000 federal fine.

Somebody at work said it's now a $10,000 fine but I doubt that.

Is a $1000 worth 1hp you won't even feel on the butt-dyno?

Plus it smells and u can see exhaust gases much much more. I am going to throw a cat back on.

Keep the cat, straight pipe from the cat > back .. deleting the U-Bend and the Res in 1 shot .. sounds amazing too. What i have smile

Is it really that loud/annoying when you get up to speed with a resonator and exhaust delete?

Also, are there any pros and cons to doing this besides sound?

It is very loud yes but for how long are you going WOT?

The biggest problem is the drone around 1800 RPM, which is roughly where you are running when on the highway, so it's a constant annoyance.

I dont notice a drone at 1800 RPM , when i'm in 3rd going like 50km/h it sounds RAW i love it.
