has anybody herd or seen the new lexus with the puch button start like the race cars have ? i was wondering if that could be done with our cars ? and if so how ? heres a link to the one i found but it doesn't say to much on it.

I don't know if its the same but I saw a show on T.V. about keyless cars. You just have to carry a small transmitter in your pocket and the doors unlock for you and then you just push a button to start it. Pretty cool stuff.

You can do it with any car. It's just a matter of wiring it up. Keep in mind youd still have to have the key to unlock the wheel. Or you can jimmy the switch so you won't need the key. But why do that.

Also I've seen an add (can't remember what car)but as long as you have the key in your pocket the doors will unlock and the inginition be energized for that push button feature.

wow thats pretty cool herc. so since it can be done do you think they would privide a wiring diagram with it or if not where could i go about getting one to wire it up ?

I've seen fancy ones at the parts store. Don't know if they come with an installation diagram but you can use any momentary switch.

i bet if all cars had a push button, and some very few had our key start style, we would be thinking "man, i wish i could have a key start..." thinking it would be nice to have control over the duration of the starter... smile
