Anyone seen these before? they are only 90 each for a 245/45/18 new. What do you guys think? I'm short on cash and just wanted to know if these are s**t or not. I like the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 but they are 221 per tire.

they are alright, i have them on my 18's that i use for racing, they are an agressive lookign tire, and perform pretty good, but when you get them wet, look out, your going everywhere.

there not to bad in the rain acually, i ment more like heavy rain, and icy or snowy roads, no traction. but it could just be because i have so much power my tires like to spin so bad lol, cause 450hp to the front tires, not so good when roads are wet.

well I'll be putting the stock ones back on in winter cause I live in ontario canada so our winters last 6 months are always snowy/icey pretty much. Thats not really a problem. So I think i'm going to get them. I also found a great deal on rims on ebay. http://search.ebay.ca/_W0QQsassZg5rimf Only kicker for me is CAD shipping costs, its like another 100 bucks for shipping.

what about NeXeN n3000? they have a higher speed rating than the Nankang but I can't really seem to find any reviews really. I see some bad and some good ones but nothing really lengthy or in depth. anyone heard of these ones?

look at it this way if you have never herd of the brand, dont count on it to be good because you wont have any idea, now Nankang is a side brand to Toyo, so it is a very good quality tire and its name is known, stick with something that is known and has good reviews.

alright thanks Boosten, I didn't know that about Nankang. I ordered my rims and clear corners yesterday, too bad they're going to have to sit in the basement for a few months i hate winter...

sorry to bring back an old post but am hoping someone here has had some experience with these tires. There are three diff tires im looking into and am torn on which way to go. Anyone had experience with either:
a) Toyo Proxes T1-R - 900 for 4 b) Falken FK-452 - 550 for 4 c) Nexen N3000 - 350 for 4
I am liking the Nexen's the most, then the Toyo and then Falken but like boosten said, stay to what you know but i've heard good things about the nexens. Boosten also said nankangs were good bu my brother has the Nankangs and has had to replace 3 of them because his sidewalls have split...
Toyo is a good brand but they're also quite pricey. anyway, just looking to see your opinions and good/bad experiences.
