I've talked about it before but not tooo seriously. I wanted too much money and wasn't willing to budge on the price then.

Advertise a reasonable price and you might get some bites.
$8000 is a bit much and I seriously doubt you'll get any takers for that price.

You already posted this car before for 10,000 but its still overpriced at 8,000.

Do some research on autotrader, craigslist, and some retail places like carmax. Anyone whos looking to buy will also be doing their homework.

At the highest put it up for $7000....I don't know if you have ever been told but when you modify your car it is worth less

The car is over 10 yrs old w/ 74k miles on it. Give, that is relatively low miles and its custom, you won't get someone to buy it for $8,000 no matter how much you personally think the car is worth.

1) Go to kbb.com to see what the price range is for year, mileage, etc.

2) gteisele is right that the car is acutally worth less because of the mods. Why? People are taking a bigger risk buying something where the original manufacturer specs have been altered. Most performance mods do reduce reliability. Folks don't know if you took it to a cheapo place for paint or a place where it cost $4k to paint. Custom paint jobs make it harder to sell vs. a basic paint job. Its like buying a house w/ custom room colors all because the owner thought it looks cool but they wonder why the house isn't selling. This is why almost everyone "demods" their cars before selling. With that said, I recommend marking it up $500 from the kbb value to just as a sales ploy. Anything more is silly.

3) Place it on auto trader.com

As mentioned above, a car forum where mostly everyone ones a GP isn't a good place to sell one. Its like selling an apple down a local orchid.

Still better than a ride with over 150k on the clock that sells for more than 5k

OH, BTW the obo behind the price means...OR BEST OFFER! Meaning: throw some offers. Cash or cash & trade would be considered. As we all KNOW, a cash offer will change a sellers mind on what he/she has to have.

probobly not going to sell it here, we all have a GP and not looking for another.

Not trying to be rude or anything man, just saying there aren't many members, if any, in the market for another GP.
