I say, you take what you can get and go from there. I have $4500 total invested in the car (including the purchase price), how many of you can say that... and I have plenty of hot chicks who wanna ride! lol

X2! I've owned two coupes, and two sedans, and made do with what I had. And none of the hot chicks I knew cared one bit about how many doors the car had, that's for sure... wink

the girls I was with (way long time ago) all preferred the sedans. Easier to get in and out of the back than gettin hung up on the seat belt. Coupes do exude the cavalier spirit, but that also could send the wrong message. If she's lookin for commitment and maturity, she'll be subconsciously lookin for the sedan. Nobody ever said you had to call her in the morning, though...

That's so true, Richard, and drivin' a sedan doesn't mean you're running a taxi service, or that you've stopped being cool. And some hot chicks drive sedans... thumbsup

i must say, im a 22 yr old single guy, and right now i wouldnt buy a 4 door if my life depended on it, but once i have a kid or two that'll probably change. and i have plenty of 6'+ friends that have sat in the back seat, and if they dont complain about gettin in and out, i dont think that a 5'x" will complain. smile

I am surprised that no one has mentioned that us sedan owners pay a heck of a lot less on insurance than you coupe guys. TAKE THAT! smile

I like the look of the coupe better but the sedan GP's are ok I guess it all depends on your needs, someone with kids and such are going to much more comfortable owning a sedan, I do'nt think in a used GP a sedan would be a deal breaker for me just learn to love what you've got .Chico.

I've walked away from a deal before.
1st reason - 4 doors.
2nd reason - red.
I was looking for a 2-door Honda Accord, fully loaded, brand new. They didn't have any at the time and said there was a waitig list, but he did have a fully loaded red 4-door that was priced to sell.
I then turned my attention to the Preludes, which I bought one of those instead.

This can't be true can it? My dad's old 1980 Cadillac had doors that were bigger than I was. And Delta88s have huge doors too.

I can't believe GPs have the biggest.

sedans are better. more functional, no HUGE doors, less weight on the hinges, safer, easier to get in/out, easier to haul things, better looking, etc.
Coups might be cool for small cars, but not big cars.

All you guys talkin about leg room...

Your shifter is on the floor, THAT'S the problem.

Column shifters are the way to play guys and...what was that? I'm the only one on the board with one!

Besides, I beat all of you, my car has seat belts for SIX!

4-door SE grandma car FTW!

And as far as insurance goes, doesn't that GTP-badge thingy cost more than taking 2 doors off?
