Hey I was looking at a TB spacer the other day, and I was wondering does anybody know if there is a spacer for the supercharger? I figured that if I was going to put the TB spacer on, I might as well put a S/C spacer on, cause it can't possibly hurt anything. I wish that I had the money for an intercooler, but my kids, etc gotta come first. Just wondering if someone here could steer me in the right direction if ther is a company that makes them. Also a spacer (or I/C) will fit under a stock hood, right????? confused

You know, I thought I saw a supercharger spacer on the zzp website under "used returns and prototypes", but it's not there now.

Wish I could remember if it was a space or not, but I thought it was.

EDIT: Here it is/was. Looks like they sold it (must have been a prototype):

TB = Throttle Body
SC = Super Charger

TB Spacer - A plastic spacer between the TB and the SC, not allowing the heat to transfer from the SC to the TB. Also blocking coolant from passing through the TB. Both effects keeping your intake temps cooler.

SC Spacer - Seperates the SC from the intake manifold in the same manner as the TB spacer. Apparently not a big benefit, as there is no production on this spacer.

True. The biggest heat generator in the S/C'd motor is that S/C. Compressing the air increases the temps astronomically.
