my heads up display fades in and out. it never goes completely off... but it will go from its full brightest all the way down to its lowest... i dont know what is the problem. Sometimes it will stay on to the full brightness and be fine, other times it will be very dim and stay that way. I have noticed it stays dim more at night, but i dont think it has anything to do with the headlights being on or anything because if i am driving at dusk it can be fine(full brightness) and the auto-lights will kick on and it still stays full bright, but later at night when i start it will be dim!!? any help?!

There is a cold solder joint that has worked it's way to the bad side. There is a link somewhere around here to fix it. I don't have the time to search right now.
