Flashing interior lights, and turnsignal clicking syndrome

it doesnt do it all the time... when it does it does if for about 5 min... the thing that clicks when the turnsignal is on... clicks... and the interior lights flash on and off, to the beat of the turnsignal clicker... i am absoutley clueless why this is happening... any ideas???
